Dr. Gerard H. Hubbell, OD

Dr. Gerard Hubbell established (1977) The Hubbell Eye Clinic and Optical Lab in Lakeland, Florida. Dr. Hubbell received the 1997 Vision USA Award, a Presidential award presented to him in the Oval Office by President Clinton. Represented companies including Johnson and Johnson, Acuvue, Ciba and Durasoft and was clinical physician for Bausch & Lomb and Allergen Pharmaceauticals. Honored many times for his community service work, providing eye care to the poor and indigent. Listed in the platinum edition of The American Registry of Who's Who as a pioneer in the fields of diagnostic eye care and contact lenses. Dr. Branning I. Hollis, OD

 Dr. Hollis, a native of Columbus, GA, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Columbus State University. He received his doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.

During his training Dr. Hollis completed his externship at Clayton Eye Center in Morrow, GA. There he had extensive training with the treatment and management of ocular diseases, as well as managing pre and post operative cataract patients. After graduating from NSU Dr. Hollis then went on to work with an Ophthalmologist in a private practice setting where he co-managed pre and post operative patients with refractive surgery (including LASIK, LASEK, PRK, and CK) and surgical complications. He also became skilled in the fitting of specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Hollis is an active member of the American Optometry Association, Florida Optometry Association, and Hillsborough Society of Optometrists.
